Tamarind Glazed Pork Chops




4 Med. Pork chops

1/8 Tsp. Salt

1/8 Tsp. Pimento (All Spice) Powder

1/4 Small Scotch Bonnet (sliced)

1 Medium Onion (sliced)

1 Large Clove Garlic

4 Tbsp. Sammi’s Tamarind Jam

1/4 Tbsp Cooking Oil Of Choice


Rinse pork chops and dry. season with chopped garlic, sloth bonnet pepper, salt and pimento powder.

Heat sauce pan, add 1/4 Tbsp oil. When hot add pork chops. When brown on either side remove chops and put into pot and add 1/4 cup of water then cover. Keep adding water every 10 mins until tender. Cook for 30-35 mins. Add onions  along with the scotch bonnet slices. Add 4 Tbsp. Sammy’s Tamarind Jam and cover on low heat for 5 minutes. Serve with fresh vegetables :)
