How to Make Jamaican Saltfish Fritters

Jamaican saltfish fritters also known as Stamp & Go is a quick dish to make as the name suggests. This meal is usually made for breakfast and it’s bite size is perfect for those looking to grab something to go.

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups flour
  2. thyme
  3. saltfish
  4. scallions
  5. scotch bonnet peppers
  6. onions

Directions

  1. In a bowl add Flour , thyme leaves , onion , scallions, scotch bonnet peppers and shredded saltfish.
  2. Add water and mix ingredients together until desired consistency is achieved
  3. Heat oil in frying pan
  4. Pour batter into pan and cook until golden on both sides

Optional Sides

  • Pear/Avocado

Notes

  • Remove excess oil with paper towel
  • The amount of seasonings used varies depending on preference
